Who We Are

Jean Gay Mussleman, MA (Pictured Left)
Jean Gay started ElderCare Services in 1996 in response to a need her family had for inhome care for a loved one. Today, ElderCare provides caring, compassionate services to Shoals elders and support to their families, wherever they may be.

Jean Gay is also a Professional Geriatric Care Manager, and can assist elders and their families in coping with the challenges of aging. Many adult children, caught between caring for aging parents and raising children, need to know their options. We can assess needs, develop a plan of care, and provide case management. Jean Gay Mussleman is an active member of the National Association of Geraitric Care Managers, where she annually updates her continuing education and training.

Dee Mussleman (Pictured Right)
Dee has been with ElderCare since its inception and serves as Vice President. He is a member of the National Private Duty Association and regularly attends training conferences to learn as much as possible about providing the very best in non-medical in-home care. Dee also serves on the board of directors of the Coalition of Alzheimer’s & Related Disorders of Northwest Alabama.
